(technical title change) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Davies: Page 3, line 3: Delete "a high level of" 1998-05-05 House Journal Page 3529 SB 250 Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Ogan objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 250(FIN) Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 14 NAYS: 23 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 3 Yeas: Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Davies, Elton, Grussendorf, Joule, Kemplen, Kookesh, Kubina, Moses, Nicholia, Phillips, Williams Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Cowdery, Croft, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Hodgins, Hudson, Ivan, James, Kelly, Kohring, Kott, Martin, Masek, Mulder, Ogan, Porter, Rokeberg, Ryan, Sanders Absent: Hanley, Therriault, Vezey Hudson changed from "Yea" to "Nay". And so, Amendment No. 1 was not adopted. Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 250(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Representative Kubina objected. The Speaker stated that HCS CSSB 250(FIN) will be in third reading on tomorrow's calendar.
